The landscapes in Ha Giang are truly the most beautiful in Vietnam and perhaps in Southeast Asia in general. The Ha Giang loop is a three-day journey through mountains, small villages, waterfalls and green valleys. If you are coming to northern Vietnam or are already in Sapa, Hanoi or Cat Ba, I really recommend not to miss this experience!

Weather in the area
The best time to visit the Loop is between September and November or between March and May , when the weather is pleasant and not very rainy. December to February can be cool and grey. While between June and August , the area is quite hot, humid and rainy.

Loop Ha Giang
The loop is a circular route of 3-5 days. You can choose whether to go by motorbike or jeep – the experience with a motorbike is much more powerful but of course also much more dangerous! If you go with a group then there is nothing to worry about – the drivers are really careful and know the roads very well.
You can rent a motorbike in the city and go out on your own or take an organized trip that includes the route with the most beautiful stopping points, accommodation and food for all days.
