weather
There are two main seasons in Krabi and the region:
dry season
From the beginning of October to the end of March. A little rain, sunny and bright. In addition, this is also the peak of the tourist season. Towards March and beyond, the heat is increasing.
wet season
Very rainy, typhoons, monsoons and high humidity. That's why it's a weak season in terms of tourism (but there are many advantages! More affordable prices, available in most hotels). Despite the high chances of rain and storms, there are still many bright and sunny days. In other words, it's mostly a matter of luck.

Recommendations for other destinations in Thailand and how to get there
Krabi is just one (and special) part of Thailand's charm. If you are planning a longer trip, it is recommended to also visit Koh Lanta Island, two hours by boat or van from the city, a magical island with quiet beaches and a perfect atmosphere. In addition, if you want to go to three special islands not far from Krabi, I recommend going to Mok, Kradan and Hai. If you are looking for nature experiences in northern Thailand, you should go to the town of Pai, which is one of the most popular destinations for travelers in Thailand. And of course every trip to Thailand starts and ends in Bangkok , the capital city of Thailand, which in the eyes of many is also the capital city of the entire Southeast Asian region and is a super interesting destination in itself. You can choose whether to arrive at each destination by flight or by bus, usually an overnight trip.
Don't have the energy to take long overnight trips? Domestic flights in Thailand are super cheap! That's why it's worth comparing prices and taking internal flights:
