Dalat is a unique mountainous city in southern Vietnam that is full of attractions such as waterfall rappelling, easy rider tours, nature treks and Vietnamese cultural experiences. It is very different from the rest of the country, both in landscape and atmosphere. If you plan to continue from Dalat to Nha Trang , it is a short drive of about 3-4 hours, from where you can continue north to the historic city of Hue , about 10 hours away by car or short flight. So what do you actually do in Dalat?

Weather in Dalat

As in the rest of southern Vietnam and due to the tropical climate, the region has two seasons:
The dry season, from November to March. It is best to travel during this period, there is little rain and between 20 – 30 degrees. Cool evenings.
Monsoon season, from April to October. Very rainy and humid. The temperatures can drop to 10!

It is important to note that this area is much cooler than the south, so it is recommended to bring something long, especially for the evening hours.
