You can get there by scooter, private taxi or take a minivan from Hanoi.

weather
The weather in the area can be a bit fickle, as is the case throughout northern Vietnam. So it's important to check the weather in advance so you don't end up with a gray, rainy day.
Details of the seasons in Northern Vietnam:
- December to February. Winter. Almost no rain at all but cold and cloudy, between 10-20 degrees.
- March to May. Spring. The perfect season for the area! Everything is blooming, lots of butterflies and green rice fields. 23-29 degrees.
- June to August. Summer. Rainy, very hot and humid, 30-35 degrees.
- September to November. Autumn. Also a recommended season. A little rainy, humidity drops. 23-27 degrees.
How to get to Moc Chau?
- Arriving from Hanoi by bus – a 4-hour journey.
- From Mai Chau – you can get there by taxi, an hour and a half drive.
- Taxi from Phu Long – 3.5 hour drive.
What to do in Moc Chau?
You can spend a whole day in the area and see 2-3 attractions. Alternatively, you can stay there overnight and see more or simply rest more (always recommended!). In any case, getting around there will be with a driver who will be with you all day or on scooters.
Bach long glass bridge
A glass walking bridge. The bridge offers a stunning view of the mountains of Moc Chau. There is a fee for admission.

Moc Chau Happy Land
An area full of flowers and interesting vegetation. The place attracts mainly Vietnamese tourism. In fact, we were the only foreign tourists there! You can see lots of flower crops, greenhouses, artificial lakes and farm animals. In the middle there is a very special ecological guesthouse with small and compact rooms called Eco House Moc Chau.

Dai Yem Waterfall
A really beautiful waterfall with a bridge and a convenient path to wander by the waterfall and admire nature. About fifteen minutes from the city.
Thác Chiêng Khoa
Also a beautiful waterfall with clean turquoise water, in the hot season you can go in (if it's not too flooded)! The waterfall is about a 50-minute drive from the city and the descent to it is quite steep.

Bat Cave
A relatively well-lit cave located right in the city itself. There is a small climb to get to it, and of course there is a small temple inside.
Ngũ Dong Bản Ôn
After a short climb, you will reach a large, quiet cave a little far from the city (about a 40-minute drive). It is not recommended to enter the caves when it is raining!
Thác Nàng Tiên
Amazing waterfalls that you can also swim in part of the year (especially when there isn't much rain). The road there is difficult to drive and bumpy, so make sure you arrive in the appropriate vehicle.
